My connection with Africa began through years of travelling across the continent.
I later spent more than twelve years managing safari camps and lodges while supporting conservation initiatives including beekeeping and tree-planting projects.

Is it safe to holiday in Africa?
Yes. We’ve been welcoming guests to Africa in perfect safety for decades. Please view our travel information if you have specific questions on a country-by-country basis. Send us an enquiry or reach out to one of our specialists for more information.
What if I need to cancel or change my booking?
Read more about our booking conditions, including our cancellation and refunds policy here.
How long does the holiday need to be for a good safari and beach rest?
We would suggest an optimal duration of 12-14 days, which allows for travel time and relaxation. With an absolute minimum of 9 days.
We recommend a safari duration of 6 to 10 nights to give you enough time to settle in. If you’re visiting our Porini Camps especially, this time will allow for you to experience two or three conservancies without rushing, and minimise travel fatigue for everyone involved.
Can I see the Big Five on your safaris?
Your best chances of seeing the Big Five in Kenya are at the following locations.
However, we can mix and match locations however you want them, to increase your chances of seeing all of them and more of Africa’s biodiversity:
* Ol Pejeta Conservancy: Our strongest recommendation for the Big Five. It is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and home to the world's last remaining northern white rhinos.
* Maasai Mara National Reserve & Mara Conservancies: World-famous for lions, leopards, and elephants. While rhinos exist here, they are elusive and rarely seen. sightings are more frequent in the adjacent conservancies.
* Olare Motorogi & Ol Kinyei Conservancies: Private lands adjacent to the Mara. These are premier spots for Big Cat sightings and large elephant herds.
* Nairobi National Park: This is one of the most reliable places in Kenya to see rhinos.
* Amboseli National Park / Selenkay Conservancy: Famous for Big Tuskers (Elephants) and buffalo.
