Amboseli & Masai Mara plus Beach
Our 10 day safari & beach itinerary includes 3 nights at Porini Amboseli Camp in the Selenkay Conservancy, followed by 3 nights at Porini Mara Camp in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy and ends with 3 nights to relax at the Indian Ocean beaches of the Kenya Coast.
Safari accommodation is at the highly-acclaimed Porini Safari Camps (which are Fully Inclusive of accommodation, selected drinks, shared game drives by day and night, guided walks, bush picnics and sundowners). Transport from and back to Nairobi is by air to avoid the long road transfers.
Accommodation at the coast is at Pinewood Beach Resort & Spa, a multi award-winning boutique hotel, where natural beauty and inspired design are merged to create the perfect romantic destination. Situated on the unspoiled shores of the wonderfully warm Indian Ocean, this intimate and stylish beach resort prides itself on exceptional personal service and attention.

Itinerary in Detail
DAY BY DAY
Tour Experiences








Day 1
Fly from Nairobi Wilson Airport on the 07:30 hrs flight to Selenkay. You will be met on arrival by your Driver & Guide from Porini Amboseli Camp who will transfer you to camp, with a game drive enroute. After lunch you will have an escorted walk to a nearby Maasai village to gain an insight into the way of life of the communities living outside the Selenkay Conservancy. You will then drive back into the Selenkay Conservancy. Enjoy a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro then continue with a night game drive and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing. Following a picnic lunch in the park, return to camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
After an early breakfast, enjoy a walk with Maasai Guides in the Conservancy. Take a rest after lunch and then go out on an afternoon game drive to explore the Selenkay Conservancy. All the big cats have been seen in the Conservancy as well as elephants and a wide range of species including large numbers of giraffes, zebra, and antelopes. There are also less common animals to be seen such as the long-necked gerenuk gazelle, lesser kudu and African wildcat. Return to Camp for dinner and overnight
Day 4
Early breakfast, drive to the airstrip for the flight to Wilson Airport, connecting onto the scheduled flight to the Mara, You will be met and transferred to Porini Mara Camp, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon you will have a game drive with a sundowner at a scenic spot followed by a night game drive with spotlights to search for nocturnal animals, including the elusive leopards which are resident in Ol Kinyei Conservancy, before heading back to camp for dinner. Overnight at Porini Mara Camp.
Day 5
Awake to the natural sounds of the Mara’s birdlife. Leave camp soon after dawn to explore the Ol Kinyei Conservancy on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats. Breakfast. Later return to camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive, followed by a sundowner and night game drive on the way back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Porini Mara Camp.
Day 6
Enjoy a full day to explore the Conservancy at your leisure, or opt for an exhilarating game drive in the renowned Masai Mara Reserve. Should you choose the latter, a picnic lunch will be provided in the park before returning to camp in the late afternoon.
In the evening, unwind with a sundowner in the Conservancy, followed by a night game drive to discover the nocturnal wildlife. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Porini Mara Camp.
Note:Â From July 1 to September 30, a one-day fee to view the Migration in the Reserve is already included in your package.
Day 7
Early morning game drive in the conservancy returning for breakfast. Mid- morning transfer to the airstrip for the 11:00 hrs flight back to Nairobi Wilson airport (arriving 12:20 hrs). Lunch is excluded on this day but you can have a quick and light lunch at the airport, payable direct.
Connect onto the afternoon scheduled flight to Diani. Met at Ukunda airstrip and transferred to Pinewood Beach Resort & Spa. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8 & 9
Days at leisure at the resort, lunch on own arrangements. Dinner and overnight at Pinewood Beach Resort & Spa.
Day 10
Breakfast at the resort, rest of the morning at leisure with use of room until 10:00 hrs, lunch EXCLUDED. Later, transfer to Ukunda for 15.30 hrs scheduled flight back to Nairobi, arriving at 17:10 hrs. Met at Wilson airport and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for homebound flight.
