Gamewatchers Safaris has been in business for over 25 years. Situated on United Nations Crescent in Nairobi our office’s neighbouring shopping complex could not be in greater contrast to the wild surroundings at the safari bases we offer to clients wishing to get in touch with raw Africa, bases which are far removed from the mass-market tourist lodges offered elsewhere on the continent.
From the outset you can be reassured that your time at the parks will be maximised as you will access the conservancies by air from Nairobi’s Wilson’s Airport on Safarilink airways.
Our friendly and experienced Safari Consultants will be delighted to help and advise you in planning your safari tour and will make all the arrangements for your chosen itinerary. They are based in Nairobi, UK, USA and India.
On arrival in Kenya, our Customer Services Manager and her team will be on hand to ensure your safari tour arrangements are taken care of and run smoothly, to meet you at the airport and to look after your transfers between your Nairobi hotel and the different wildlife parks and reserves or the coast.
Our business credentials are anchored in the local community. Gamewatchers Safaris was established in 1989 by our founder and Chairman, Jake Grieves-Cook, who has been involved in Kenya’s tourism industry for over 40 years.
Jake is a passionate advocate of sustainable and responsible tourism – evidenced by his having been Chairman of the Ecotourism Society of Kenya (ESOK), being a board member of the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), as well as having been a one time Chairman of the Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF), a trustee of the EU/ Kenya Government Tourism Trust Fund (TTF), and an active member of the East African Wildlife Society and Chairman of the Kenya Tourist Board (KTB). His involvement with our wildlife conservation projects with Maasai communities at Amboseli and the Mara has been ground-breaking and always completely hands-on.
Jake is always happy to hear from clients with their feedback after being on a Gamewatchers Safari or following a stay at our Porini Safari Camps. You can email Jake direct, at the following address:email@example.com
