This exclusive itinerary takes you deep into two of Kenya’s premier private conservancies—Ol Kinyei Conservancy and Olare Motorogi Conservancy —renowned for their thriving populations of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Far from the busy tourist trails, you’ll enjoy privileged access to pristine wilderness, guided by local Maasai who know every track, call, and secret corner of the land.
From the moment you arrive, your days will be filled with awe-inspiring wildlife moments: morning game drives in open-sided 4x4s as the plains awaken, thrilling night drives in search of elusive nocturnal predators, and guided bush walks that bring you closer to nature’s quiet rhythms. This is your chance to see the Big Cats at their most active—and to experience the magic of the savannah from every angle.

Tour Experiences
Day 1
Depart Nairobi’s Wilson airport at 10am for the one hour flight to the Mara. You’ll be met at the Naboisho Ol Seki airstrip by Porini Mara Camp staff and transferred to camp. Settle into your tent and enjoy lunch prepared by the camp chef. Afternoon game drive in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy, followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot. Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight at Porini Mara Camp.
Day 2
Awake to the natural sounds of the Mara’s birdlife. Leave camp soon after dawn to explore the Ol Kinyei Conservancy on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats. You will have a bush breakfast out in the wilds and then return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon you will have a further game drive in Ol Kinyei Conservancy and Naboisho Conservancies with a sundowner at a scenic spot followed by a night game drive with spotlights to search for nocturnal animals, including the elusive leopards which are resident in Ol Kinyei, before heading back for dinner and overnight at Porini Mara Camp.
Day 3
After breakfast leave camp and drive through Ol Kinyei Conservancy and Naboisho Conservancy , game-viewing as you go, and on to Olare Motorogi Conservancy arriving at Porini Lion Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the exclusive Olare Motorogi Conservancy , away from the minibuses and tourist vehicles seen in the reserve, and with an excellent chance of sighting lions, cheetahs and leopards all of which are found in the conservancy. Sundowner and night game drive. Overnight Porini Lion Camp.
Day 4
A full day spent on a game drive in the famous Masai Mara Reserve with a picnic lunch in the park or a full day exploring the Olare Motorogi Conservancy and then return to Porini Lion Camp in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Porini Lion Camp.
*Optional Balloon Safari and Champagne Breakfast.
*One Day Maasai Mara National Reserve entry fee included from 1st July to 30th September ONLY
Day 5
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, returning to Porini Lion Camp for breakfast. You will transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to either the international airport or a Nairobi hotel.
(please note that hotel accommodation is not included but can be arranged for an additional fee).
You may choose to add extra nights at any of the Porini Camps. Alternatively, consider extending your stay by flying to the Kenya Coast or the Island of Zanzibar, where you can unwind on the pristine white beaches of the Indian Ocean.

Jambo, I’m Tommy Mees, most people call me Tom.
My connection with Africa began through years of travelling across the continent.
I later spent more than twelve years managing safari camps and lodges while supporting conservation initiatives including beekeeping and tree-planting projects.
Having travelled extensively throughout Eastern and Southern Africa, I developed a deep appreciation for authentic wilderness experiences and the conservation-focused approach of the Porini Camps.
I am originally from Belgium and now based in Spain, though my heart has always remained in Africa.
