Amboseli & Migration Safari
This 8 day safari starts with a night under canvas at the unique Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park before continuing to the Amboseli region and the world-renowned Maasai Mara. Timed for the Great Migration there is a good chance of seeing Kenya’s Big Five safari animals plus much more.
Nairobi National Park is home to rhino, lions and leopard amongst other species, Selenkay Conservancy and Amboseli National Park are famed for the elephant populations and in the Maasai Mara the big cats and other predators will be attracted to the area by the Wildebeest Migration.
Ol Kinyei Conservancy and the adjacent Mara Ripoi Conservancy are large areas of pristine wilderness where day and night game drives and educational safari walks are all included. One day is also spent in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Flights are included between camps to avoid lengthy road transfers.

- Exploring Selenkay Conservancy: After a scenic flight, you’ll be transported to Porini Amboseli Camp. For two days, immerse yourself in Selenkay’s wildlife wonders, including game drives and an enlightening visit to a Maasai Village.
- Amboseli National Park Adventure: Venture into Amboseli National Park for incredible wildlife encounters. Witness the iconic African landscapes with the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
- Mara Marvels: Fly to Naboisho in the Maasai Mara, your gateway to Porini Giraffe Camp. Discover the wild beauty of Ol Kinyei and Mara Ripoi Conservancies during day and night game drives.
- Epic Masai Mara Expedition: Embark on an epic day-long adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve, a wildlife paradise. Return to camp for evening and night game drives, unveiling the secrets of nocturnal Africa.
Pick up JKI Airport and transfer to Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park for check in and lunch. Afternoon game drive then dinner and overnight for 1 night on full board safari package basis. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Wilson Airport where you will board schedule flight to Selenkay Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Amboseli Camp for 3 nights on all inclusive basis with daily Selenkay Conservancy fees and one day Amboseli National Park entrance fee and a Maasai village visit. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Selenkay Airstrip to board schedule flight to Wilson Airport where you will connect to another schedule flight to Naboisho Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Giraffe Camp in Mara Ripoi Conservancy for 3 nights on all inclusive basis with daily Ol Kinyei & Mara Ripoi Conservancy fees. On the last day after breakfast transferred to Naboisho Airstrip to board scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. Porini Wildlife Habitat trust fee included in the package rates.

DAY BY DAY
Tour Experiences
Day 1
Pick up from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to Nairobi Tented Camp. Check-in and relax in your tent before lunch and later taking an afternoon game drive, returning after sundowner for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for the 07.30am charter flight to Selenkay Airstrip. Met on arrival and transfer by 4×4 vehicle to Porini Amboseli Camp. Check in to camp and have lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the conservancy and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 & 4
Enjoy game drives viewing the best of Selenkay Conservancy. A visit is also made to a Maasai Village where you can meet the villagers and learn about their customs and way of life. Time is also spent in Amboseli National Park. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Porini Amboseli Camp.
Day 5
After breakfast check out and transfer to the airstrip for the morning flight to Wilson and connect to the 10am flight to Naboisho (Mara). Met on arrival and transfer by 4×4 vehicle to Porini Giraffe Camp (game drive en route). Check in to camp and have lunch. Later take an afternoon game drive in the Mara Ripoi conservancy with a sundowner and return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Early morning game drive viewing the best of Ol Kinyei and Mara Ripoi Conservancies. Return to camp for breakfast. After lunch take an afternoon game drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Night drive en route back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
Day 7
After breakfast at camp we head into the Masai Mara National Reserve for a day of game-viewing. Return to camp in the late afternoon, after a picnic lunch in the Reserve. Later, head out on an evening game drive within Ol Kinyei/Mara Ripoi Conservancy – stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a night game drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
Day 8
After breakfast check out and transfer to Naboisho Airstrip to board 11am scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival met and transferred to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to check-in for your departure flight back home.

Hello, I am Sally Wanjau, and I have been travelling to Kenya on safari since the 1980’s which led to me living and working there for several years. Married to a Kenyan, it is a place that I now call home. I currently live in the UK with my husband.
