Beginning in the vast plains of Tsavo National Park one of the world’s largest wildlife sanctuaries, the adventure unfolds through breathtaking scenery shaped by ancient volcanic activity and alive with elephants, lions, and other iconic species.
Continue to Amboseli National Park, where herds of elephants roam beneath the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Game drives, guided walks, and sundowners offer intimate encounters with the park’s abundant wildlife and birdlife.
After a stop in Nairobi—including visits to the Giraffe Centre and a meal at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant—you’ll journey north to the striking landscapes of Samburu National Reserve, home to unique northern species such as the reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra, as well as the proud Samburu people who preserve their traditional way of life.
The route continues into the cool, misty forests of the Aberdares, where forest-dwelling wildlife like colobus monkeys and rare bongos thrive, before descending to the shimmering waters of Lake Nakuru, famed for its birdlife, rhinos, and classic savannah game.
Your safari culminates in the legendary Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve and stage for the Great Migration. Here, vast plains teem with predators and plains game alike—offering some of the most extraordinary game viewing on the continent.

Tour Experiences





Day 1 - Monday
Depart Nairobi and transfer (265 km – about 5 hrs) to Tsavo National Park and to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for 2 nights (Full Board and including park fees). Enjoy lunch at the lodge before setting out on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 2 - Tuesday
Breakfast at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. Game drive in Tsavo National Park. Lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 3 - Wednesday
After breakfast you will transfer (105 km, about 4 hrs) to Amboseli National Park and to Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge for 2 nights (Full Board and including park fees). Lunch at the lodge before taking an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 4 - Thursday
Breakfast at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge . Game drive in Amboseli National Park. Lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge .
Day 5 - Friday
After breakfast, transfer back to Nairobi (250 km, about 5 hrs). Visit the Giraffe Centre after which you will have lunch at Carnivore restaurant. Later proceed to The Tribe Hotel for overnight. (Dinner is not included this day).
Day 6 - Saturday
After breakfast, check out of The Tribe hotel and board your 4×4 safari vehicle to drive north to Samburu National Reserve, arrive for check in and lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. After relaxation, proceed on an afternoon game drive in the reserve returning later for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 - Sunday
Full day in Samburu National Reserve with early morning, mid morning and afternoon game drives in 4×4 pop-up roof safari vehicle. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 8 - Monday
After breakfast, check out and drive by 4×4 pop-up roof safari vehicle to the Aberdare National Park arriving at Aberdare Country Club for lunch. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to The Ark where you will spend the evening observing wildlife from the lodge as the animals come to the nearby saltlick and waterhole. Dinner and overnight at The Ark.
Day 9 - Tuesday
After a cup of tea or coffee check out of the The Ark and board the transfer vehicle to the Aberdare Country Club for breakfast after which our driver will assist you with collecting the rest of your luggage. Continue by the 4×4 pop-up roof safari vehicle down the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park with an en route game drive, arriving at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge for check in and lunch. After relaxation, proceed on an afternoon game drive in the park returning later for dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 10 - Wednesday
After breakfast, check out and drive Southwest in the 4×4 pop-up roof safari vehicle to Maasai Mara Reserve arriving for check in and lunch at Keekorok Lodge. After relaxation, proceed on an afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara returning later for dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.
Day 11 - Thursday
Full day in Maasai Mara Reserve with early morning, mid morning and afternoon game drives in 4×4 pop-up roof safari vehicle. All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.
Day 12 - Friday
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi in your 4×4 safari vehicle arriving in the mid afternoon. Drop off in Nairobi or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. (Optional excursion and lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden – at an extra cost, on request).
