Experience one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife encounters on this unforgettable 4-day Rwanda Gorilla Safari. Journey through the heart of Rwanda’s dramatic volcanic landscapes with two guided treks to observe the endangered Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat within the Parc National des Volcans.
This short but immersive tour begins in Kigali, where you can visit the poignant Genocide Memorial before ascending through Rwanda’s “Land of a Thousand Hills” to the lush forests that surround the Virunga Volcanoes. Here, you’ll spend two nights at a scenic lodge overlooking shimmering lakes and towering peaks—an ideal base for gorilla tracking and quiet reflection.
With two Gorilla Permits per person included, you’ll have the rare privilege of joining expert guides to trek deep into the misty rainforest, where the silence is broken only by birdsong and the rustle of gorilla families among the foliage. Witnessing these gentle giants up close is a once-in-a-lifetime experience—deeply moving and humbling.
Your final night is spent in the comfort of the Kigali Serena Hotel, with optional cultural excursions available before your departure.

As the first light of dawn breaks through the curtain of mist clinging to the summits of Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyniyo, Gahinga and Muhabura, we make our way into the Parc National des Volcans in search of Mountain Gorillas. Afternoon at leisure – optional excursions available from lodge (payable locally). Dinner and overnight at lodge (BLD).
