Situated on the northern tip of Manda Island within Kenya’s Lamu archipelago, Mana Bay is a “no shoes, no news” beach resort.
Located within a wildlife conservancy on Manda Island. The hotel partners with two conservation bodies – The Manda Projects Ltd & The Ocean Trust – and your stay includes Conservancy Fees that support ongoing land and marine rehabilitation projects. Guests can explore and learn about these initiatives during their visit.
A range of spa treatments can be arranged at the hotel.
The hotel is a scenic 30- minute boat ride from Lamu Manda Airport.
A 25 minute boat ride takes you to Lamu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a number of cultural excursions can be arranged during your stay.
Full Board with option of All Inclusive supplement available.
Water sports including SUP boards, windsurfers, kayaks, laser sailing boat, topper sailing boat, snorkelling equipment, Water-skis, wakeboards, knee board, air-chair, banana boat and doughnuts are available at the hotel.

All rooms are crafted from locally sourced materials, including wood, palm-woven matting floors, and palm thatching. Each room is designed with simplicity in mind, featuring open-air windows without shutters or glass. Every room includes an ensuite bathroom, oversized walk-in mosquito net, overhead fans, and a verandah with chairs and a swing bed for ultimate relaxation.
