Have you been considering a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to view the iconic wildlife of Africa but think the experience is financially out of reach? Read on for details of great safari experiences from just US$ 1215 for 3 nights / 4 days inclusive of local flights, camp accommodation, meals, game drives and conservancy fees (even in peak season)!

Our portfolio of camps in Kenya includes two “Gamewatchers Adventure Camps” which ensure you get all the premium activities and wildlife-viewing normally associated with only the most expensive camps and lodges but at a fraction of the price.

Guests benefit from staying in an exclusive wildlife conservancy teeming with animals and away from the crowds, but at a price competing with the large, low-cost mass market safari lodges.

Our Conservancies are vast areas of pristine wildlife-filled terrain where you enjoy day and night game drives in 4×4 vehicles, bush meals and guided walks and stay in small, comfortable camps. Here you can observe the wildlife – including elephants and all the Big Cats – where the animals are completely safe in their natural environment.

7 day Adventure Camp…..top class wildlife viewing!

And on Tripadvisor, this is what the Anderson family from Scotland had to say about their experience this month at Selenkay Adventure Camp:

“Amazing experience, fabulous service, new friends”

“It is actually quite hard to begin to describe what an amazing experience we had at the Gamewatchers Adventure Camp at Selenkay. We combined a three night stay here with a three night stay at Ol Kinyei Adventure Camp for six nights of safari magic. We flew into the Selenkay area on flights arranged by Gamewatchers Safaris. We were picked up by our wonderful guides Daniel and Amos and driven to the camp in a open sided jeep. Immediately we saw a huge range of game including elephants.

The camp is fabulous. Located under a large tree, there is a large mess tent, camp fire area and area to charge phones etc. The camp has recently relocated to a new area after the spring floods but is up and running well. Tents are spacious with a flushing toilet and shower located just behind each tent. It is amazing to be woken in the night by sounds of animals communicating with each other knowing you are safely guarded by the Masai watchmen.

Mornings are an early start with a lovely jug of warm water ready to wash and freshen up before heading out on game drives. Sometimes breakfast is served picnic style or sometimes on return to camp. Wonderful fruit salad, yogurt and then eggs, bacon and sausages!

The drives themselves were amazing. Daniel and Amos did an amazing job searching out various animals and in particular, shared a huge herd of elephants with us. We got very close to them and sat in awe as they ate their fill of leaves and branches.

We also spent one day driving to the National Park at Amboseli which was quite long but worth it when we saw a lions, flamingos, zebra, hyenas and so much more! You are always welcomed home with a lovely campfire.

The food was delicious. Three course meals at night and a great selection of salads and meat for lunch, served either on site or as a picnic on safari. We ate each meal out in the open and at dinner it was especially nice to sit under the bright stars.

This trip was a dream come true for myself and my family happily joined along with it! Our two teenagers (13 and 17), loved it and were in awe of what they saw and experienced. It was a special week for us all, one we will never forget due to the wonderful staff at the camp. This is an excellent, and more affordable option to go on safari and much closer experience to those early explorers. Would highly highly recommend.”
