Visit Tawi Lodge
Set on a 6000 acre private Conservancy, Tawi Lodge is placed right at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro with breathtaking views. The lodge is set on a community conservancy and made up of 12 beautiful cottages. The décor at Tawi is inspired from African tradition but still has the modern flair and guest comforts.
Strategically placed on bushland that faces the mountain, all the cottages have their own wooden veranda with amazing views. The bed and bath tub are also perfectly placed for guests to catch views of the mountain itself. The cottages accommodate doubles or twins and have ensuite bathrooms with both a shower as well as a bath.
The food at Tawi Lodge is specially prepared from products that are grown right on the Amboseli wetlands and are prepared with delicious spices form the Coast.
Spend your evenings at Tawi at the bar and dining area. From here, guests can view the Wetlands where herds of Elephants come to drink and play in the mud.
Relax at the bush bar or campfire as you absorb the sounds of the night while you enjoy your drink. Spend your days enjoying Game drives and Birdwatching. Enjoy the pool and massage area and for a special treat, indulge in a hot bath at sunset right across the Waterhole.
For those wanting to add to this adventure, you also have the opportunity to book a 6 day Mt. Kilimanjaro hike as well as a Helicopter ride at an extra cost.
