Victoria Falls & Chobe

This short but rewarding safari combines two of Southern Africa’s most iconic destinations—Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park—into a seamless and memorable journey. Begin with time to explore the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi River plunges dramatically into a vast gorge, creating one of the world’s most powerful natural spectacles.

From here, continue to Chobe, renowned for its exceptional wildlife density and large elephant herds along the riverfront. Game drives and boat safaris offer diverse perspectives, with animals gathering at the water’s edge—particularly during the dry season.

Ideal as a standalone trip or as an extension to a wider African itinerary, this safari delivers a balance of scenery, wildlife and accessibility in just a few days.

We have a Standard, Superior and Deluxe version of the tour – each including high-quality accommodation, transport and game activities.

Tour Experiences

Days 1 & 2: Victoria Falls

You will be met on arrival at Victoria Falls Airport and will be transferred* to your choice of accommodation for a two night stay.

* Private Transfer for Superior & Deluxe Options. Transfer may be shared for Standard Option.

The Victoria Falls are one of the natural Seven Natural Wonders of the World and is the largest sheet of falling water on earth – a spellbinding and mesmerizing spectacle. The sheer mass of water cascading down the 100m drop across nearly 2km makes  a thunderous roar and creates a magnificent spray of water that can be seen for miles – hence the local name ‘mosi oa tunya’ meaning ‘the smoke that thunders’.

Days 3 & 4: Chobe

Following breakfast, you will be transferred* by road to your choice of lodge in Chobe for a two night stay.

* Private Transfer for Superior & Deluxe Options. Transfer may be shared for Standard Option.

The Chobe River Front is a remarkable wildlife area due to the permanent water source of the Chobe River. The spectacle of all the animals coming to drink and frolic at the water’s edge is one to behold, particularly in the dry season (May – Oct) where water is scarce away from the river. It is an area famous for its abundance of elephants, a variety of predators and, in addition, you are likely to see herds of buffalo and possibly even roan and sable antelope.

Day 5: Safari ends in Kasane

After breakfast you will be transferred (by the lodge’s shared transfer) to Kasane Airport from where we can arrange an onward flight (not included).

Alternatively, a road transfer can be arranged from the lodge back to Victoria Falls – supplement applies.
