Three Rivers Safari
With a blend of comfort, adventure, and wildlife, this 7-day itinerary offers a rich taste of Africa’s natural wonders—perfect for first-time explorers or seasoned safari lovers seeking something special.
Combining three of the region’s most iconic destinations into one seamless journey. From the thunderous beauty of Victoria Falls to the wildlife-rich Chobe National Park and the untamed wilderness of the Okavango Delta’s Khwai Community Area, this tour is designed to immerse you in nature at its most raw and spectacular.
Begin your safari at Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Here, you’ll witness the mighty Zambezi plunge into a dramatic gorge, creating a misty roar that lives up to its local name—Mosi-oa-Tunya, “the smoke that thunders.”
Next, journey to Chobe National Park, famed for its dense elephant population and dramatic wildlife encounters along the riverfront. Game drives and boat safaris bring you face to face with herds of buffalo, prowling predators, and birdlife in abundance—especially during the dry season when the animals crowd the riverbanks.
Your final destination is the Khwai Community Area, a hidden gem bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Here, the Okavango Delta comes alive. Spot leopards, lions, and wild dogs on game drives, explore off-road, and venture out on guided night drives or walks in this flexible and thrilling safari zone.

Tour Experiences

Day 1: Victoria Falls
Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred by road to your choice of lodge for a two night stay.
Day 2: Victoria Falls
A full day to experience the Victoria Falls area.
Overnight at your choice of lodge.
Day 3: Chobe
After breakfast, you will be collected from your lodging and transferred to your next destination in Chobe for 2 nights.
The Chobe River Front is a remarkable wildlife area due to the permanent water source of the Chobe River. The spectacle of all the animals coming to drink and frolic at the water’s edge is one to behold, particularly in the dry season (May – Oct) where water is scarce away from the river. It is an area famous for its abundance of elephants, a variety of predators and, in addition, you are likely to see herds of buffalo and possibly even roan and sable antelope.
Settle into your accommodation and enjoy activities from the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at your choice of lodge.
Day 4: Chobe
A full day to enjoy activities from the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at your choice of lodge.
Day 5: Khwai Community Area / Okavango Delta
Following the morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, you will be transferred for a charter flight to your next destination.
Lying on the eastern fringes of the Okavango Delta with a rich wildlife population and no borders drawn around it on the map, Khwai is often overlooked in favour of its more famous neighbours, though in the winter months it can hold its own for the quality of big game viewing. During your time here, you’ll spend most days exploring the narrow Khwai River, which forms the natural boundary to the Moremi Game Reserve on the south. The Khwai River is a beacon for wildlife and plays host to leopards stalking lechwe in the long grass, lions swimming from the banks to save their cubs’ during territorial disputes and crocodiles competing with wild dogs for a midday meal of impala. As Khwai lies outside the parks, it offers the freedom and flexibility normally only possible with the heavier price tag of a private concession. Go off-road for a closer look at sightings, night drive in search of nocturnal species, and, with a little advance planning, head out on game walks to track wildlife on foot.
Settle into your accommodation and enjoy activities from the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at your choice of lodge.
Day 6: Khwai Community Area / Okavango Delta
A full day to enjoy activities from the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at your choice of lodge.
Day 7: Safari ends in Maun
After a morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, you will be transferred by light aircraft to Maun Airport to connect to your onward travel arrangements.

Hi, I’m Rae, based on the West Coast of Canada, on beautiful Vancouver Island. I’m a passionate traveler who has explored nearly 30 countries, but it was a solo journey to Africa that truly transformed my perspective. From the moment I arrived in Botswana, I felt an undeniable connection to the continent and was inspired to spend more time experiencing its extraordinary wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and rich cultures. My solo travels have since taken me through Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius, South Africa, Uganda, Namibia, and Kenya, where I experienced Gamewatchers Safaris and Porini Camps firsthand. It was during these immersive and unforgettable journeys that my passion for Africa evolved into a clear vision: to join the Gamewatchers team and help others discover the magic of safari. I’d love to connect and plan your wildest dreams!.

Andrea Landaeta
Hola, I’m Andrea and my love affair with the captivating world of safaris began during my teenage years when I embarked on my very first safari in Kenya. There, amidst the awe-inspiring wildlife and expansive plains, I found my true passion. Over the years, Kenya has called me back time and time again, leading me to explore its myriad camps, conservancies, and renowned parks. More recently, I’ve had the privilege of staying at all the Porini Camps, where the spotlight shines on wildlife conservation—a cause close to my heart as I traverse the globe. While Kenya holds a special place in my wanderlust-filled heart, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda have also woven their magic into my soul.
