The Luxury Northern Tanzania Flying Safari is a 7-day journey designed to maximise wildlife viewing time while maintaining a high level of comfort throughout. Covering Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park and Serengeti National Park, this itinerary follows Tanzania’s renowned northern safari circuit, known for its exceptional wildlife density and varied landscapes.
By incorporating scheduled flights between key locations, the itinerary reduces long driving distances and allows more time for game viewing in each destination. Starting in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and baobab-dotted landscapes, before continuing to Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro highlands. The journey then culminates in the Serengeti , where expansive plains support abundant wildlife and seasonal migration patterns.
Accommodation is in carefully selected luxury camps and lodges, offering a balance of comfort, location and access to key wildlife areas, enhancing the overall safari experience.

Tour Experiences
Day 1
This morning you will take a short flight from Arusha to Kuro Airstrip, Tarangire National Park. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Olivers Camp. Enjoy lunch at the camp before an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Olivers Camp.
Day 2
Early morning depart the camp for a game walk in the surrounding area. On return to the camp enjoy breakfast. Relax till after lunch when you will depart on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Olivers Camp.
Day 3
After breakfast depart the lodge for airstrip with a packed lunch. Depart by small aircraft for Manyara Airstrip. You will be collected and transferred to Plantation Lodge. En route enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara where you will stop and enjoy lunch. Dinner and overnight at Plantation Lodge.
Day 4
This morning after an early breakfast depart the lodge for Ngorongoro Crater visit and game drive. Decent Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy picnic lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at Plantation Lodge.
Days 5 & 6
Transfer to Manyara Airstrip for flight to Serengeti . Depending on the season and migration location you may either go to Northern Serengeti National Park ( Sayari Camp – July – December) or Central Serengeti National Park ( Dunia Camp – January – June). On arrival you will be met and transferred with a game drive to camp. Arrive at Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon partake in game activity.
Dinner and overnight at Sayari Camp /Dunia Camp.
Day 7
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Seronera airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha.
Alternative Option: For those wishing to extend their adventure, you may to enjoy a few days of relaxation on the beach. We can arrange flights and a choice of hotels

Jambo, I’m Tommy Mees, most people call me Tom.
My connection with Africa began through years of travelling across the continent.
I later spent more than twelve years managing safari camps and lodges while supporting conservation initiatives including beekeeping and tree-planting projects.
Having travelled extensively throughout Eastern and Southern Africa, I developed a deep appreciation for authentic wilderness experiences and the conservation-focused approach of the Porini Camps.
I am originally from Belgium and now based in Spain, though my heart has always remained in Africa.
