This unforgettable 8-day safari begins in the heart of Nairobi, where guests spend their first night at the charming Nairobi Tented Camp — before flying south to Selenkay Conservancy in the Amboseli Eco-system, known for its legendary elephant herds and dramatic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The journey continues to the Maasai Mara , where during the peak of the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s greatest spectacles, expect thrilling wildlife encounters, from herds of wildebeest to the famed big cats that stalk the savannah.
Stay in exclusive Porini Camps located in private conservancies where off-road driving, night game drives, and guided walks are permitted — giving you access to intimate and uncrowded wildlife experiences. In Selenkay Conservancy, adjacent to Amboseli National Park, enjoy sightings of elephants, lions, and other plains game. Then explore the remote Mara Ripoi Conservancy, a pristine habitat for predators and prey alike, with an optional full-day visit to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.
All inter-camp flights are included, ensuring you spend more time on safari and less time on the road. This thoughtfully designed itinerary offers exceptional game viewing, authentic cultural encounters with the Maasai, and a seamless, comfortable safari experience from start to finish.

Tour Experiences
Day 1
You will be picked up from Nairobi Airport or central Nairobi and transferred to Nairobi Tented Camp, an exceptional alternative to conventional hotel stays in the bustling city center. Nestled within the lush woodlands of Karen, ideally located for visits to Nairobi National Park, the Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre and other attractions.
Overnight at Nairobi Tented Camp (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2
Start your day with an early breakfast before transferring to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for a short morning flight to Selenkay/Amboseli. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met and transferred to the nearby Porini Amboseli Camp, with an exciting game drive en route. You will arrive in time for check-in and lunch.
After lunch, embark on an escorted walk to a nearby Maasai village to gain valuable insights into the way of life of the communities residing outside the Selenkay Conservancy. Following your visit, you will return to the Selenkay Conservancy, known for its diverse wildlife. Expect to see big cats, elephants, and a variety of species, including large populations of giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Additionally, you may encounter less common animals such as the long-necked gerenuk gazelle, lesser kudu, and African wildcat.
As the day winds down, enjoy a sundowner at a scenic location with breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro. The evening continues with a thrilling night game drive before returning to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 & 4
Enjoy game drives viewing the best of Selenkay Conservancy. Time is also spent in Amboseli National Park.

Day 5
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for the flight back to Nairobi, where you will then connect to the flight to Olseki Airstrip in the Maasai Mara. Porini Giraffe Camp staff will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to camp for 3 nights (fully inclusive of meals, beer, wine, soft drinks, mineral water, gin & tonics, day and night game drives, guided walks, sundowners and park fees) . After lunch take an afternoon game drive in the Ripoi Conservancy, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp
Day 6
Following an early breakfast, take a game drive into the Masai Mara National Reserve or the Ripoi Conservancy. Return to camp in the late afternoon, after a picnic lunch in the Reserve. Later, head out on an evening game drive within Ripoi Conservancy – stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a night game drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
Note: From July 1 to September 30, a one-day fee to view the Migration in the Reserve is already included in your package.
Day 7
Early morning game drive viewing in Ripoi Conservancy. Return to camp for breakfast. After lunch take an afternoon game drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Night drive en route back to camp. Dinner and overnight at Porini Giraffe Camp.
Day 8
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Ripoi Conservancy, returning to Porini Giraffe Camp for breakfast. You will transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to either the international airport or a Nairobi hotel.
(please note that hotel accommodation is not included but can be arranged for an additional fee).
You may choose to add extra nights at any of the Porini Camps. Alternatively, consider extending your stay by flying to the Kenya Coast or the Island of Zanzibar, where you can unwind on the pristine white beaches of the Indian Ocean.
