Bakuba is a unique and artistic lodge created and designed by Bruno Decorte – a visionary Belgian decorator with an unwavering passion for creativity. The hotel’s architecture boasts of an eclectic blend – Gaudi’s signature curves merged with various ethnic influences and inspiration derived from countless voyages. Bakuba has three stunning rooms and two luxurious suites, each adorned with beautiful African artwork and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

Road transfers to/from Antananarivo can be arranged, however by road you would need to include it in a larger itinerary as it is too far for one journey.

Hello, I am Sally Wanjau, and I have been travelling to Kenya on safari since the 1980’s which led to me living and working there for several years. Married to a Kenyan, it is a place that I now call home. I currently live in the UK with my husband. For a number of years, I ran my own safari business as an agent working closely with Gamewatchers Safaris creating unique and tailor-made holidays for my clients, and in 2017 I joined Gamewatchers Safaris full-time as one of their dedicated team of Safari Advisers.
