Uganda has a varied landscape including stunning mountainous areas covered in thick ancient rainforest. This unique eco-system is home to thousands of species of flora and fauna, with many rare and endangered specimens.
Uganda is most famous for being one of the last refuges for critically endangered mountain gorillas.
Our Uganda safari tours include an exciting trek in search of mountain gorillas as well as other activities such as guided walks in the rainforest in search of chimpanzees, various species of monkey, several endemic bird species and rare butterflies and plants; cultural excursions to discover the hunter-gatherer traditions of the native Batwa Pygmy tribe and walks to the local village to learn about community projects.
Our tours include a 4 day visit to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and a 7 day tour seeing the highlights of Uganda including Kibale Forest, the Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
We can also tailor a Uganda safari to include other areas such as Murchison Falls National Park or Mgahinga National Park – please contact us using our online Booking Enquiry Form and our Sales Team will devise a tour to suit your requirements.
Please Note: there is a minimum age of 15 years for gorilla treks.
