Porini Maasai Safari

Venture beyond the beaten path on this thoughtfully curated safari through two of Kenya’s most remarkable wildlife conservancies – Selenkay Conservancy and  Ol Kinyei Conservancy. Designed for travellers seeking meaningful encounters with nature, this journey takes you into the heart of pristine wilderness — far from tourist crowds and deep into big game country.

Your adventure begins in  Selenkay Conservancy, a secluded corner of the greater Amboseli ecosystem known for its open landscapes, rich biodiversity, and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, elephants roam the plains, lions track the herds, and you’ll explore on guided walks and game drives led by experienced Maasai guides who call this land home.

Next, continue to Ol Kinyei Conservancy, an award-winning, community-owned reserve in the Masai Mara ecosystem. Protected from over-tourism and brimming with life, Ol Kinyei Conservancy offers unmatched access to Kenya’s big cats and migrating herds. Because it’s private land, you’ll enjoy off-road game drives, thrilling night safaris, and bush walks — unique experiences not allowed in national parks.

Throughout your stay, you’ll be hosted at intimate Porini Camps, where just a few guest tents ensure a quiet, authentic safari experience. These camps blend comfort with sustainability, offering solar-powered lighting, ensuite bathrooms, and personalized service — all set in spectacular natural surroundings.

Optional Add-On: Add on 1 night at Nairobi Tented Camp from US$95 per person.
