Bomani Tented Lodge offers an authentic Zimbabwe safari experience in a private 5,000-acre reserve on the edge of south-eastern Hwange National Park. Surrounded by the wildlife-rich Ngamo Forest Area, the lodge provides excellent year-round game viewing, with elephants, lions, buffalo and other African wildlife frequently seen around the waterholes. Guests can enjoy guided game drives, walking safaris, night drives and close-up wildlife viewing from underground hides, as well as the unique Elephant Express rail safari. The lodge also supports local conservation and community initiatives, including the Ngamo Rhino Sanctuary, making Bomani an ideal base for an immersive Hwange safari.

  • Travel through Hwange National Park on a unique open-sided railcar, offering a relaxed and scenic way to view wildlife along the route.

  • Game activities as available including walks, drives, all day excursions, hide sits, night drives.
  • Ngamo community experience, and school tour (*school visits not available in April, August and December –
    Mid January during school holidays).
Price Excludes
  • Community Rhino Conservation Initiative (CRCI) Levy of US$ 200 (2026) US$ 220 (2027) per person per stay will
    be added to all bookings. Children 16 and under will be charged US$ 100 (2026) US$ 110 (2027) per stay.
  • Hwange National Park entry fees will be charged separately and are subject to change when invoicing.
