RockFig Safari Lodge
RockFig Safari Lodge is a luxury safari lodge, located in the heart of Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, adjacent to the famous Kruger National Park.
This intimate lodge, offers just 6 chalet-type suites, all with beautifully designed ensuite bathrooms and private decking to relax and enjoy the surrounding bushveld. Â A dip in the pool is a perfect way to cool off and relax in between wildlife viewing and the covered lounge is a comfortable setting to observe the animals who come to the waterhole.
Guests can experience many options for meals, such as for private dining, a bush breakfasts after a morning game viewing and meals shared with other guests and Guides to share news on the days sightings.
The lodge offers game drives are with experienced trackers and Guides in the Big Five Timbavati Private Nature Reserve , as well as guided walking safaris, which offer a different perspective and are a wonderful way to experience the wild bushveld on foot.
RockFig Safari Lodge employs local people and supports the local economy and is part of the Timbavati Foundation, which emphasises environmental education and outreach programmes in community schools. It is honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to programmes spearheaded by the Timbavati Foundation, from deterring rhino poachers to controlling fires and inspiring schoolchildren to grow vegetables.
Accommodation
Six luxury chalets, which can be converted into twin, triple or king configuration.
All chalets are en-suite with baths, plus indoor and outdoor showers, private viewing deck, air conditioning and overhead fans, mini bars and coffee facilities and hairdryers.
Location
RockFig Safari Lodge is located on the border of Kruger National Park in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Direct daily scheduled flights are available from OR Tambo and KMIA.
