Visit Ngorongoro Farm House
Ngorongoro Farm House, a small and exclusive hotel built on a 500 acre coffee plantation, all of which has been designed to take you to the comfort and style of past times. . All rooms have  ample space inside and are  built on the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with local materials and full of details of good taste, with the purpose of offering the clients an imaginary journey to the life of the days gone. The lodge has the feel of a farmhouse and as one arrives at the lodge, you are greeted with large, open grassy lawns which stretch across to the main areas.
Accommodation
The hotel has 52-chalet type rooms built in the style of the old colonial farms and decorated rustically with local materials and tasteful details. The lodge is effectively divided into two
parts each with its own communal bar and lounge area, and set of rooms. Each lounge and bar area is set in a large farmhouse style building with a high thatch roof, russet red stone floors, and white-washed walls. To one side of this building is a large swimming pool, and to the other is a wide sun deck from where one can watch the sun set in the evenings. The bedrooms are scattered through pretty gardens dotted with colourful flower beds. In front of the rooms is a long stone pathway which leads back to the main areas,then the back of the rooms face onto the open fields of farmland. The rooms are neat and spacious, the furniture and soft furnishings are simple yet very effectively put together. The result is natural, stylish and very comfortable.
Meals and Facilities
Meals consist of a wide variety of fresh food, prepared from in-house farm produce and on occasion, buffets are served around the swimming pool.
Guests may choose to take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens or enjoy the spectacular sunsets with the Oldeani volcano as a backcloth.
Ngorongoro Farm House is a wonderful stop-off during a safari on the north circuit of Tanzania and a privileged place from where one can visit the crater or enjoy activities such a walking safaris to the volcano or excursions to Lake Eyasi on the Rift Valley which is home to the Hadzabe tribe.
