Visit Amboseli Serena Lodge
An awe-inspiring view of Mount Kilimanjaro awaits you in lush surroundings at Amboseli Serena Lodge. The lodge is set inside a grove of Acacias, within the Amboseli National Park, about 270km South-East of Nairobi and surrounded by miles of rolling grasslands, home to herds of elephant and plains game.
Accommodation
The lodge offers comfortable accommodation in 96 guest rooms, each with an uninterrupted view over the ever-changing vistas of the African plains. Each room has its own en-suite bath and shower, and all have spectacular views of the National Park. The lodge is built using materials which are in harmony with the environment and draws on traditional Maasai culture and style. Each guest room is styled in a Maasai theme featuring beadwork, gourds, hand-painted murals and the architecture of the lodge is based on a traditional Maasai homestead.
Activities
The Lodge has a swimming pool and other facilities include bars and restaurant as well as a spa for beauty treatments or massage. Baby-sitting facilities are also available from the housekeeper.
All around the Amboseli Serena lodge roams the big game that has made East Africa legendary – including lions, buffalo, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, antelopes and zebras. Amboseli National park is splendid place to view elephants. Game drives are taken from the lodge to observe the wildlife at close quarters. Without leaving the lodge, you can encounter hundreds of species of wetland and migratory birds known to the area.
