Located on the South Coast of Mombasa’s Diani Beach, the Five-Star Swahili Beach Hotel offers sophisticated accommodation in unmatched surroundings with state of the art technology; all this is found on the idyllic beach setting that borrows its decor from the rich, vibrant Swahili culture of the Coastal people.

In line with keeping green and minimising carbon effects at the resort, Swahili Beach is bathed in lush tropical greenery with both exotic and indigenous trees, shrubs and tropical palms.

At Swahili Beach, guests can enjoy a variety of services and amenities. The guestrooms delight you with breathtaking views of the pools, the sea or lush tropical gardens and are equipped with air-conditioning, flat screen TVs, mini bars, electronic safes, coffee/tea making services as well as wireless internet. The rooms boast of exquisitely furniture done up in contemporary Swahili styles with big arches, many open spaces and a lot of natural lighting.

At the suites, guests have the pleasure of a connected lounge, dining area, veranda and private kitchen with vies overlooking the Indian Ocean. There is also access available to the rooftop sun terrace and open air lounge.

Dining

Swahili Beach offer their guests a selection of smart and casual dining with over 4 different restaurants; The main hotel/buffet restaurant, Majilis welcomes guests with contemporary designs of black and white images depicting Swahili people and activity.

An Indian /Swahili Fusion restaurant East is East, is the first of its kind in Kenya with a shisha bar area with low baquette seating and designed with a very “Indian” style to it.

Again the first of its kind in Kenya, Swahili offers an A La Carte restaurant, the Champagne & Oyster Bar. Catches of the day are served while guests enjoy the majestic views of the ocean as they enjoy their meal.

A little less formal, Baharini beach bar & Italian restaurant situated right on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean. This is a great place for casual dining and superb for Sundowners.

Kahawa Cafe, an Arabian style coffee shop that serves tantalizing coffees and light snacks.

For activities at Swahili Beach, we have a fully operational water sports centre that offer PADI scuba diving and water sport activities.

The Spa and Fitness is strategically located on the ocean front with access to its own cove and pool. The spa has six luxurious treatment rooms with individual showers and offers a variety of beauty and relaxation treatment. There is also a gym with exceptional high tech Gym equipment for use.
