This safari idea started 2 years when 9 friends reunited at the 40th high school reunion. We decided to celebrate our 60th birthdays in Africa. We interviewed 10 tour operators and selected Gamewatchers/ Porini, thanks to Julie Roggow’s impressive response to our wish list. Giraffe Manor. Done! Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Done! Mountain gorillas trekking in Rwanda. Done! Safari in Maasai Mara. Done! Relax time in Diani Beach. Done! This was the most amazing trip for 9 friends who go back to 3rd grade. We loved the people, the animals, the camps, the beauty. Asante, Asante!
