Guests can relax by the swimming pool and in the gardens, or for the more active the Maisha Health Centre offers a range of sport and watersport activities.
The Kiyaga Restaurant has lovely views over the swimming pool and private beach towards the Lake and offers a buffet breakfast, buffet / a la carte lunch and dinner. Food is of an excellent standard with a fusion of African and International cuisine. The Lake View Bar & Terrace provides the perfect laid-back venue for a drink with a view, and the beachside Ziwani Cafe & Bar has regular barbecues, live music and entertainment.

Swimming in the freshwater lake is safe and there is a broad range of water-based activities such as boating, and fishing).
Other activities include volley ball and tennis, guided hikes, treks, boat trips and tours to the local fishing villages. Guests can also simply take a stroll around the pretty town of Gisenyi.
