Visit Sarova Lion Hill Lodge
The Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is located in the heart of the Great African Rift Valley, on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of East Africa’s most famous lakes. The lodge setting, overlooking the lake, offers a unique vantage point.
Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary to the greatly endangered Black Rhino. Colobus monkeys keep you busy with their mind games, and the park is home to plenty of other game including Zebras and waterbucks.
Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is 160kms from Nairobi approximately a two hours drive or 30 minutes by air followed by a 30 minute transfer to lodge.
Accommodation
There are 64 superbly appointed chalets each with private facilities, mosquito nets and verandas with panoramic views of the lake.
The restaurant serves meals on the ground floor and also a patio is available at the pool. A buffet is served for lunch while dinner is table d’hote with a seating capacity of 200 people. Rift Valley Bar on the ground floor overlooks the lake, and is open from 7.00 am. to 11.00 pm every day. The lodge restaurant and bar open onto a large viewing deck with panoramic views.
Activities
The lodge has a swimming pool, sauna, laundry service, and curio and gift shop.
Boasting over 400 bird species, Lake Nakuru Park sets the stage for a definitely incredible time at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. Marvel at the serenity of the wild atop Baboon cliff as you sample the best cocktail blends, or dine under the acacia trees with an amazing view of the lake.
A major feature of this park is the bird life, and the rhino sanctuary provides the opportunity to see the greatly endangered black rhino.
