birds photoThis 8-12 night Safari combines a stay at all four Porini Camps in four of Kenya's finest wildlife areas.

Amboseli Porini Camp located in the Selenkay Conservancy.
Porini Rhino Camp located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Mara Porini camp located in Ol Kinyei.
Porini Lion Camp located in the Olare Orok Conservancy adjacent to the Mara Reserve.

The Safari Camps are small and exclusive and run on the same environmentally sound principles - working closely with the local communities. All camps are specially designed to have minimum impact with no permanent structures.

 

Wildlife and Safari Highlights:

  • Transfers between each camp are by scheduled air service with a flight to get you straight to the wildlife without spending hours travelling between the parks over rough roads.
  • Game drives from the camps in 4x4 safari vehicles (not vans) with excellent guides.
  • Walks with Maasai warriors, visit to authentic Maasai village, opportunity for night game drives, exclusive wilderness areas with no tourist minibuses.
  • An authentic safari experience staying in small exclusive camps with spacious guest tents, comfortably furnished with private bathrooms, solar lights and located in attractive unspoilt natural settings.
  • At the camps all meals, drinks (wine, gin & tonic, beer, sodas, mineral water), game drives, walks, night drives and sundowners are included in the price.

 

Free Night Offer

From January 2013 the Porini Birds & Big Game Safari includes a free night at Nairobi Tented Camp, at the beginning (the night before the start of the 8 night safari to the Porini camps) or at the end. Nairobi Tented Camp is located in the heart of Nairobi National Park. It is the first accommodation of any sort to be allowed in this unique safari destination. There isn't anywhere else in the world like it: a wilderness escape where you can savour the feeling of being in the wilds of Africa in the heart of thick forest but right on the doorstep of the city of Nairobi.

Prices include: Pick up in Nairobi then road transfer to Amboseli, 2 nights in Porini Amboseli Camp with daily Selenkay Conservancy fees and one day Amboseli National Park entrance fee, Maasai village visit then afterwards check out and fly to Wilson Airport where you will connect to another schedule flight to Nanyuki Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp for 2 nights with daily Ol Pejeta Conservancy fees and visit to Chimpanzee Sanctuary, afterwards check out and fly to Siana Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Mara Camp for 2 nights with daily Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancy fees, then afterwards check out and game drive enroute via Naboisho Conservancy and into Olare Orok Conservancy to arrive at Porini Lion Camp for 2 nights with daily Olare Orok Conservancy fees and one day Masai Mara Game Reserve entrance fee, the four camps are based on full board basis including soft drinks, beer, house wine, gin & tonic, mineral water, return airstrip transfers, day & night shared game drives in open sided 4x4 safari vehicle with qualified guide, sundowners, walks with Maasai warriors, then last day fly back to Wilson Airport.

Child rates applicable for 08 – 16 year olds:

1 child sharing with 2 adults, child pays child package price above while the 2 adults pay per adult sharing rate.

1 child sharing with 1 adult, child pays child package price above while the 1 adult pays single adult rate.

2 or 3 children sharing in own tent, each child pays 75% of per adult rate. Child under 8 years not recommended.

Exclusive vehicle use:

Sole use of the open sided 4x4 safari vehicle during game drive US$ 375 per vehicle per day.

Christmas & new year supplement:

On 24, 25, 26, 31 Dec 2012 & 01 Jan 2013 is US$ 40 per person per night.

Late afternoon departure:

Late departure after 12h00 US$ 125 per person minimum 2 pax (includes lunch, soft drinks and activities before departure in the late afternoon).

Flight supplements:

Schedule flight: For flying from Nairobi to Amboseli US$ 50 per adult one way & US$ 35 per child (02 – 12 years) one way.

Charter flight: From 20th December 2012 to 31st March 2013 & from 01st July 2013 to 31st October 2013 we will offer daily charter flights with minimum 2 pax between Nairobi, Wilson Airport and Amboseli, Selenkay Airstrip which is very close to Porini Amboseli Camp & Selenkay Adventure Camp. The supplement will be the same as if using schedule flight as provided above. The charter flight is only 35 minutes departing Nairobi, Wilson Airport at 08h00 and arriving Amboseli, Selenkay Airstrip at 08h35. (Camp’s vehicle transfer to Porini Amboseli Camp or Selenkay Adventure Camp for free).
 
Mombasa: For flying from Masai Mara to Diani/Ukunda/Moi Airport instead of flying to Nairobi US$ 380 per adult & US$ 200 per child 10 – 11 years (one way flight). Includes late departure charge & mandatory $80 park fee.
 
Extra night rate:

For every 2 or 3 night stay one visit into Masai Mara National Reserve is included. Any extra visit into the reserve must pay US $ 80 per person per day on top of above rates.

Itinerary

2 Nights Amboseli Porini Camp - 2 Nights Ol Pejeta Rhino Camp - 2 nights Mara Porini Camp - 2 Nights Porini Lion Camp, Optional extra nights

Day 1

Road transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli Porini Camp. Lunch at the camp. Enjoy evening walk with Masai, sundowner and night game drive in the conservancy. Dinner and Overnight Amboseli Porini Camp.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park with picnic lunch. Later return to camp for Porini Camp with all activities.

Day 3

09.45 Safarilink flight to Wilson, connecting onto 10.20 flight to Nanyuki, arriving at 12.40. Rhino Camp all activities

Day 4

Porini Rhino Camp, Ol Pejeta with all activities

Day 5

09.45 Safarilink flight to Mara arriving at 11.00. Mara Porini Camp with all activities
