Ol Pejeta & Masai Mara Safari plus Beach

This reduced 10 day itinerary includes a night at the unique Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park, 2 nights in Ol Pejeta Conservancy near Mt Kenya, 3 nights in the Masai Mara and ends with 3 nights to relax at the Indian Ocean beaches of the Kenya Coast.

Safari accommodation is at the highly-acclaimed Porini Safari Camps (which are Fully Inclusive of accommodation, selected drinks, shared game drives by day and night, guided walks, bush picnics and sundowners). Transport from and back to Nairobi is by air to avoid the long road transfers.

ITINERARY

DAY 1:            NAIROBI

You will be met by a Gamewatchers representative upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and then be transferred to Nairobi National Park where you are booked in on a full board safari package at Nairobi Tented Camp. Check-in, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy an afternoon game drive, returning for a sundowner, dinner and overnight.

DAY 2:            NAIROBI – OL PEJETA

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson airport for scheduled flight to Nanyuki, departing at 10.20 hrs to arrive at 11.00 hrs, approximately. Met at the airstrip and transferred to Ol Pejeta conservancy. Check in followed by lunch. Evening game drive in the conservancy.

Dinner and overnight at Porini Rhino Camp.

DAY 3:            OL PEJETA

Full day in the conservancy with day and night game drives, visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary and a sundowner. Full board accommodation at Porini Rhino Camp.

DAY 4:            OL PEJETA – MASAI MARA

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for morning scheduled flight to the Mara, departing at 1000hrs to arrive at 1100hrs, approximately. Met at Ol Seki Naboisho Airstrip by your Porini Camp driver and depart with a game drive enroute to the camp, arriving in time for lunch. Later you will go on an afternoon game drive stopping at a scenic location for sundowner. Dinner and overnight at Porini Bush Camp.

DAY 5:            MASAI MARA

A full day to explore Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancies on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats. Wake up at dawn and enjoy an early game drive in the conservancy, returning to camp for a late breakfast followed by an escorted nature walk and then lunch. In the afternoon enjoy another game drive in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy with a night drive as you head back to camp driving in the dark with a spotlight for the chance to see the nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Porini Bush Camp.

DAY 6:            MASAI MARA

Another full day to explore Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancies on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats. DAY 7:           MASAI MARA – NAIROBI-DIANI

Early morning game drive in the conservancy returning for breakfast. Mid- morning transfer to the airstrip for the 11:00hrs flight back to Nairobi Wilson airport (arriving 12:20hrs). Lunch is excluded on this day but you can have a quick and light lunch at the airport, payable direct.

Connect onto the afternoon scheduled flight to Diani. Met at Ukunda airstrip and transferred to Pinewood Beach Resort. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 8/9:            DIANI

Days at leisure at the resort, lunch on own arrangements. Dinner and overnight at Pinewood Beach Resort.

DAY 10:            DIANI – NAIROBI

Breakfast at the resort, rest of the morning at leisure with use of room until 1000hrs, lunch EXCLUDED. Later, transfer to Ukunda for 15.30hrs scheduled flight back to Nairobi, arriving at 17:10hrs. Met at Wilson airport and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for homebound flight.
