Visit Asanja Moru Camp

Nestled among the dramatic rocky islands known as the Moru Kopjes in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, Asanja Moru Camp offers a truly exceptional luxury bush camping experience. This exclusive camp is set in one of East Africa’s most iconic wildlife areas, famed for the spectacular Great Migration and a wealth of resident animals that make the Serengeti a safari lover’s dream.

The Moru Kopjes themselves are a stunning natural feature—ancient granite outcrops rising from the plains, creating a unique landscape rich in wildlife and history. Nearby is Gong Rock, where visitors can admire a series of traditional Maasai rock paintings, while just east of the camp lies Lake Magadi, a saline lake and flamingo paradise that adds a splash of vibrant color to the landscape.

Asanja Moru is ideally placed in the heart of this wilderness, renowned for hosting the vast migration each year. Over a million wildebeest and zebras sweep through this region in an unstoppable natural procession, attracting an abundance of predators that thrive on this feast. Beyond the migration, the area is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, ensuring incredible game viewing year-round.

The camp itself comprises seven individually styled ensuite luxury tents, along with a spacious two-bedroom ensuite family tent. Each tent is inspired by a special Maasai ceremony, telling its own story through personalized African décor and cultural embellishments. With exemplary service and an intimate atmosphere,

Asanja Moru is the perfect base for exploring the wonders of the Serengeti.
