An independent, family-owned and operated safari property situated on the award-winning Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Laikipia, Kenya. Located in the southern wilderness area, Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages have unrivaled access to some of the area’s most secluded game-viewing areas. Nestled in a quiet river valley, the Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages offer comfort, seclusion, exclusivity and a wonderful wildlife experience. Guests in each cottage have their own exclusive use of a highly-qualified Kenyan guide and safari vehicle at no extra cost, plus a private chef, waiter and housekeeper. Personal service and attention to detail are paramount from hands-on owners with 30+ years’ experience in the safari industry.
Accommodation
2 x two-bedroom cottages – sleeping 4-6 people
2 x one-bedroom cottages – sleeping 2-3 people*
Spacious safari-style cottages with a large and comfortable open-plan lounge and dining room, complete with welcoming wood fire. Bedrooms are en-suite and designed as doubles or twins. All rooms open up onto an extensive veranda, providing an uninterrupted view of the surrounding wilderness. Lovingly furnished, homely touches include African artefacts, hand-made cushions and local crafts.
Facilities
The cottages are spaced well apart to ensuring maximum privacy and each comes with its own private chef who prepares all meals in each cottage’s external kitchen, ensuring guests remain undisturbed. A dedicated waiter is on hand to serve drinks and food, while each cottage also has its own housekeeper and night guard. 24-hour power is supplied via an ecofriendly solar system. Communal dining and drinks are also available on a purpose-built platform overlooking the camp’s waterhole and salt lick.

- Spotlight night game drives

- Visit the Ol Pejeta Endangered Species Boma – home to the last remaining northern white rhinos in the world
- Spend time at Jane Goodall’s Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary
- Meet children and teachers at nearby Nyakiyo Primary School, situated just outside the Conservancy
- Full-day excursions to Aberdare National Park or  Samburu National Reserve
