Larsens Camp

Designed in contemporary safari style, Larsens Camp offers luxury accommodation in the spectacular surroundings of the Samburu Game Reserve.

The camp has a pleasant setting surrounded by pristine wilderness and overlooking the river which attracts a broad range of wildlife including elephants which come to the water to drink.

Accommodation

Larsens offers 20 free standing luxury tents discreetly sited along the west bank of the Uaso Nyiro River. Each tent stands on a plinth of natural stone and all have a private balcony, 1 King-size or 2 Twin beds, electricity and en suite private bathrooms with flushing toilets and constant hot water. 

Meals

The Camp has a dining tent open on three sides and facing the river. Breakfast is served on the lawn and cooked in front of you on a barbecue, while lunch and dinner may be served outside on a deck by the river or in the camp’s dining tent. 

Sundowners are served every evening by the camp fire or on the tree deck. Guests can have their pick of cocktails, fine wines, sparkling wines and a variety of beers and soft drinks served at the Larsens Bar.

Facilities & Activities

Facilities at Larsens Camp include a swimming pool, hot tub and pleasant river front deck on which to relax. In the evenings guests meet at the camp fire to share the day's adventures. A massage service is also available.

Game drives in Samburu are particularly rewarding as are the Samburu cultural tours, bird watching, sundowners and bush picnics / breakfasts / lunches and dinners.
