We returned to Porini Mara Camp in October for a trip long in the planning where we would be joined by friends – the friends were people we first met on safari with Porini in 2009 and this would be our 4th return trip with them.
As always the welcome at camp was perfect as was tent 6 – our 2nd home. Wildlife was there to greet us as was a lovely relaxed lunch under the trees.

Ol Kinyei was drier than perhaps normal as the rain had yet to arrive on this side of the Mara. That was soon changed and welcome rain fell inviting the grazers to come and stay.

As always everything was just right, any requests sorted in quick time and done without and problems.

It was a pleasure to be back “home” and we are already looking forward to being back in Kenya next July on a trip that will include Mara Camp.
