Itinerary

DAY ONE – VICTORIA FALLS – MATETSI PRIVATE RESERVE
Approximate transfer time 55 minutes

You will be met on arrival at Victoria Falls Airport and transfer to Matetsi Victoria Falls.

You will be guided to your River Lodge Suite and have some time to unpack, relax and settle into your new surroundings which will be your home for the next four nights. Depart on a boat cruise down the Zambezi,  watching the sun set as you view the wildlife.  Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY TWO – VICTORIA FALLS

Today, you will depart for an excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Victoria Falls, also known as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ or ‘The smoke that thunders’  Experience this awe inspiring natural wonder with a private guided walking Tour of the Falls.

Additional activities (not included) at the falls can be booked such as – ‘Flight of the angels’ helicopter trip, bungee jumping, zip lining or white water rafting. Just contact us for further information and prices.

Either enjoy lunch in Victoria Falls (own cost) or return back to Matetsi for lunch.

Afternoon at leisure, before departing on a late afternoon game drive on the look out for elephants, lions and buffalo in this exclusive wildlife reserve.

DAY THREE & FOUR – MATETSI PRIVATE RESEVE

Two full days to spend at Matetsi Lodge with game drives and boat cruises.  Guests can also indulge in pampering and rejuvenating treatments in the wellness spa.  Other activities include fishing, bird watching and walking safaris. Or simply, take time to slow down and relax on your private deck, overlooking the waters of the Zambezi River,  soaking in the sounds of nature that surrounds you.

DAY FIVE – MATETSI PRIVATE RESERVE – VICTORIA FALLS AIRPORT
Approximate transfer time 55 minutes

After a final breakfast, transfer by road to Victoria Falls International Airport for your onward travel.
