Farm House Valley Lodge is a beautiful farm lodge in an excellent location for visiting Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Based on a 500 acre working coffee farm, the lodge boasts outstanding views across rolling hills to the Oldeani volcano in the Rift Valley. Farm House Valley Lodge is a great base for families, offering reasonable value, easy access to the Ngorongoro Crater and, above all, a relaxing retreat with plenty of space for children to let off steam.
Accommodation
The lodge itself has 26 spacious standard rooms, each of which comes with en-suite shower room, outside seating area, 24 hour electricity, internal telephone and charging points. The rooms are scattered around the gardens and have good pathways to the main living area. The main lodge has a cosy, farm-house feel with dining and lounge areas and a lovely swimming pool with views over the Oldeani volcano.
Facilities and meals
Enjoy sunlit breakfasts and intimate candlelit dinners on the veranda, or retreat to the generous lounge for relaxing after a long day in the bush. A cosy main house tent is in the centre of the lodge where have your evening meals. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner.
Your stay includes escorted guided walks along one of the scenic paths in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Also, guided afternoon walks of the farm to show guests the ins and outs of running the farm with visits to the vegetable garden and farm animals. Take part in guided morning or evening walks with a Masai guide. They will be more than delighted to share their culture with you.
