The Gold eco-rated Mara Bush Camp features 12 luxury, eco-conscious guest tents that are spacious, tastefully decorated with hand-made furniture. All tents uniquely face and overlook the river which inhabit a large number of hippos. The tents are completely immersed in the tree foliage, and are surrounded in nature with natural vegetation and grass fences around them for extra privacy.
The cozy lounge & bar tent serves as a meeting point, where guests can relax and enjoy a cocktail and exchange the day’s experiences before moving on to the adjacent dining tent for a delicious meal. A unique little gift shop in this lounge offers lovely souvenirs and giveaways for travelers looking for something different to take home. The gift shop supports products locally made, organic or from self-help women projects.
From the 12 guest tents 2 are family tents that are larger than the guest tents, to accommodate families or a group of friends (maximum 4 adults), comfortably. They are spacious, tastefully decorated with hand-made furniture.

The spacious Dining Tent is the mealtime highlight where carefully prepared meals are displayed in a colorful array of soups, salads, vegetarian & meat dishes and divine desserts. Meals at Mara Bush Camp are generally served buffet style and feature both international and African dishes , however, with less than 06 clients, they are ala carte. meals can also be served outside under the shade of the cooling river trees, weather permitting.
The camp also features a photo lounge which provides photographers with working tables with fixed charging point for their equipment. A projector and screen is available for photo workshops.
In the evening, the camp fire is the hang out place. Set under the stars on comfortable canvas chairs, guests reminisce the day and their impressions of the wildlife & nature whilst sharing stories of the experience enjoying a cold drink and hot or cold canapés.
