
Enkewa Mara Camp is an owner run camp, located on the southeastern boarder of Maasai Mara’s National Reserve close to the Siana Springs conservancy and in the Olderkesi community land. The Camp is based on an eco-sustainable concept and has a knowledgeable, experienced and professional team composed mainly of the local Masai community. The nearest airstrip is the Keekorok Airstrip.
Accommodation
The Camp has just 5 guest tents, one Mess tent and a Lounge area. The tents are comfortable and spacious with views over the savanna and are all fully insect-proof, with en-suite bathrooms and a flushing toilet, running cold water and hot safari showers. Strategic placing of the tents using a geobiology analysis ensures guests have a restful sleep. Surrounded by stillness and the calmness of the Olepolos oasis, with a small river flowing 24h creating a relaxing sound of running water, Enkewa Camp provides an away from it all – authentic and exclusive experience.
Facilities & Activities
The camp exclusively uses solar energy – provided 24 hours, there are no-pumps or generators used. Homemade menus are prepared with organic products and caters for any dietary preference that the guests may have. Being small, the food is a personalized affair; No buffet is served. Delicious picnic bush breakfasts and lunches in carefully selected sites will form part of the experience at Enkewa. The camp also has a lounge with a bar, there’s also a library and offers massage services to ensure a comfortable and relaxed stay.

- Day and night gamedrives in 4×4 vehicles with a driver and Masai spotter,
- Optional hot air balloon safaris,
- Walking safaris accompanied by Masai guides with great knowledge on the plantlife and excellent game tracking skills,
- Cultural visits to the local Masai villages.
