This exclusive conservancy was set aside as a protected area by the local Maasai community, who continue to co-manage the land with us; meaning our guests benefit from low vehicle density, abundant game viewing, and the rare chance to explore the Mara in a way that supports local communities and conservation efforts.

At our Porini Mara Camp, our guests enjoy day and night game drives in open-sided 4×4 vehicles, guided by Maasai warriors and expert naturalists who know the land intimately. The conservancy is home to all the iconic species you hope to see on safari such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and much more, often without another vehicle in sight.
