At Porini Amboseli Camp (Selenkay Conservancy) and Porini Mara Camp (Ol Kinyei Conservancy, Mara) we have been set up some hidden unmanned camera traps (trail cameras) to obtain a record of which animals are around.
The trail cameras have been placed in spots close to the camps to reveal the nightly goings-on in the conservancies so we can learn more about the fascinating animals that reside around the camps.
Here are a few examples of the footage that we get from the traps.
A huge number of elephants caught by our camera trap overlooking the waterhole in Selenkay Conservancy, Amboseli, Kenya. (Filmed 3 February 2021).
