Located within the 50,000 hectare Zambezi National Park, Mpala Jena Camp is the epitome of barefoot luxury where guests can enjoy professionally guided wildlife viewing in open game drive vehicles, guided walks, morning or  afternoon boat cruises (water level dependent / seasonally) and catch-and-release fishing.  The camp is also in a good location for visiting Victoria Falls and a half-day guided tour of the Falls is included for guests staying for 2 or more nights.

The camp offers just 5 immaculately designed and presented canvas rooms, each made with a light sand coloured canvas roof, stone walls and wooden decking floors, all overlooking the iconic Zambezi River. Each suite comes with an additional outside bath & shower, plus a yoga mat for those early morning stretches.

Wildlife viewing in this conservation area is on the increase with some of the highest concentration of Lion per square km than any other Zimbabwean park. Buffalo and Elephant are also present in this area with higher concentrations observed from June-October. The river is also a draw for wildlife and with crocodiles and hippos who make their presence seen and heard throughout the day and night. This area is spectacular for bird watching throughout the year and during the months of November through April there is a higher diversity of species making it a bird lovers paradise.

Mpala Jena Camp offers a relaxed atmosphere and has a sand floor in the bar area, which encourages guests to kick their shoes off and relax after their morning game drive or river cruise, or take a refreshing dip in the pool whilst admiring the views of the Zambezi.
