Bumi Hills Safari Lodge

Located high up on a range of remote hills, close to the Matusadona National Park, overlooking the vastness of Lake Kariba, is Bumi Hills Safari Lodge.  Situated on a private conservation area where lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo roam, this spectacular lodge has a total of 10 luxury rooms, all with balconies and uninhibited views over the shimmering waters of Lake Kariba.

Guest activities include guided walking safaris, stargazing, boating, birding, catch-and-release fishing, day and night game drives searching for lions in particular, as well as engaging cultural visits to a nearby local community.

Conservation
The lodge is a part of African Bush Camps Foundation (ABFC) which aims to make an impact in the communities and wildlife areas surrounding their camps and lodges. The projects running that focus addressing challenges that include unemployment, food scarcity, poor education and healthcare infrastructure, low school attendance and dropouts due to financial constraints, wildlife poaching, and preserving natural resources. The Build a Lion Boma Initiative aims to support the ABCF Human-Wildlife conflict efforts in the Mola community, close to Bumi Hills Safari Lodge.

Location

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge can be accessed via light aircraft transfers from Harare International Airport (1 hour 30 mins) or Victoria Falls International Airport (1 hours 40 mins). Transfer time from the airstrip to camp is approximately 5 mins.
