This small lodge is situated overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, close to the Munyanga River.

Each room here is considered a suite and has its very own private wrap around terrace with astounding views of the area. Superior Suites are very spacious and can be used as a twin, double or triple, each of the beds swathed in mosquito netting. These suites have beautifully designed en-suite bathrooms with an open terracotta shower. The Presidential Suite has two bedrooms, both en-suite, with a spacious living room and huge private terrace overlooking the river and the forest. This is for the utmost in exclusivity, privacy and space.

In the main area of the lodge you will find a glorious wrap-around terrace that offers panoramic views alongside the sounds of the river. You are free to dine here and watching the mist rise through the trees over breakfast is unbeatable. There is also a relaxing living room with a double sided fireplace, book/DVD library and board games, as well as a nice shop where you can pick up crafts, clothes or souvenirs. The restaurant is also in the main building with a well stocked bar.

As well as the obvious attraction of visiting the mountain gorillas, there are other excursions to fill your days here. These include guided bird walks, nature walks, visits to the lodge’s vegetable garden or a visit to the Batwa pygmy community nearby.
