The Camping Safari Experience

Tanzania Explorer Private Camp (Tarangire)

The Tanzania Explorer camp is mobile and is fully serviced with personal staff of chef, waiter and a friendly crew providing full support and delicious home cooked meals.

The insect-proof walk-in tents are spacious (3.5 metres by 6.5 metres, 2 metres tall) and have comfortable beds, quality linens and en-suite shower, basin and wc. There is also a separate Dining / Mess Tent.

The crew travel ahead (in a separate support vehicle) and establish the camp at private sites, carefully picked for optimal game-viewing. The camps keep an exclusive feel with guests experiencing a private wilderness in the heart of the bush.

Game drives are taken in the National Parks using 4×4 safari vehicles (with roof hatch) for a maximum of 5 to 7 people (guaranteed window seat). Safaris are escorted by professional driver-guides.
