Extend your East Africa tour to visit the world-renowned Serengeti National Park and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Flights are included to connect from Kenya’s Masai Mara to the Serengeti for a safari at a choice of high quality camps.
The tour continues with a flight to Manyara to access the Ngorongoro area for a few days before flying to Kilimanjaro from where connections are possible back to Nairobi or onwards to southern Tanzania or Zanzibar.
ITINERARY
Based on 2 nights in Serengeti & 2 nights in Ngorongoro (but extra nights can be added, supplements apply).
Day 1: Masai Mara – Serengeti
Leave your Masai Mara property (with picnic lunch) and transfer to the airstrip to board the scheduled flight to Migori. You will be met for the road transfer to Tarime (approx. 1 hour) from where you will fly to the Serengeti, landing at Seronera airstrip. On arrival you will be met to transfer to your camp for check in, lunch and relaxation. Later in the evening, enjoy a game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at Lemala Ewanjan.
Day 2: Serengeti
Full day in Serengeti with morning and late afternoon game drives. Full board accommodation Lemala Ewanjan.
Day 3: Serengeti – Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip. Met by our guide in private 4×4 vehicle and transferred to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and to Lemala Ngorongoro. Check in and lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 4: Ngorongoro
After breakfast with picnic lunch and proceed to the crater floor for a full day game drive. Return to camp in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight Lemala Ngorongoro.
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, drive via Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport for onward flight connection (lunch not included).
Optional flights (at a supplement, on request): fly from Kilimanjaro to Nairobi departing at 13h50 to arrive Wilson Airport at 14h45.
Alternatively, we can arrange flights, transfers and accommodation for other Tanzania locations including Zanzibar, ideal as a relaxing beach stay after your safari.
