Mezena Lodge or also known as Mezena Resort & Spa is an ideal base from which to explore the Lalibela churches and sites.  This eco-friendly property, first opened in 2017, has bought sustainable tourism to the area by working alongside the community and providing jobs and training for local people.

The lodge is a combination of Ethiopian and modern architecture which gives it a contempory look.
