DAYS 1 & 2
Upon arrival into Maun Airport, you will be met and transferred by light aircraft to your choice of camp for a two night stay.
Kanana Camp is set in the south western delta amongst grass covered islands formed by fertile eroded termite hills dotted with fig, palm and jackal berry trees. This traditional camp has an intimate and personal atmosphere, built among spectacular shady trees of ebony, acacia and sausage tree. It offers eight large safari style tents equipped with tasteful furnishings and private en-suite bathrooms. The main lodge area is on raised decking encircling the trees and offers a dining and sitting area, a cocktail bar and a refreshing plunge pool. Activities include day and night game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles, game viewing on mokoro excursions, guided walks, fishing, motor boating and sunset cruises.
DAYS 3 & 4
After an early morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, you will be transferred by light aircraft to your next location for a further two nights.
Shinde Camp is in a remote and exclusive setting on the edge of the permanent waters of the northern Okavango Delta and within the game-rich Shinde private concession. It is surrounded by waterways teeming with birdlife and game, and offering a wide variety of activities all year round. The camp consists of eight large safari style tents on timber decking furnished in elegant African style, featuring open gauze windows and en-suite bathrooms. The main lodge is a multi-tiered structure with the dining room adjoined to several lounging areas each offering different aspects across the delta. Shinde also features a boma area, gift shop and a swimming pool. Activities at Shinde include game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles, exploring the water ways in mokoro (traditional dugout canoes), guided nature walks, night drives, motor boating and sunset cruises.
Following the morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, you will be transferred by light aircraft to Maun Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
