The birdwatching in this location is also supreme, with the Green Heron, African Wood Owl, Pel’s Fishing Owl and Ayres’s Hawk-Eagle to name but a few. Guests can enjoy land and water based wildlife activities including game drives, walking safaris and mokoro safaris (water levels permitting) as well as night drives, to view some of Africa’s more elusive creatures.
This small and intimate camp offers an exclusive wilderness experience.
Conservation
The camp is a part of African Bush Camps Foundation which aims to make an impact in the communities and wildlife areas surrounding their camps. The projects running focus addressing challenges that include unemployment, food scarcity, poor education and healthcare infrastructure, low school attendance and dropouts due to financial constraints, wildlife poaching, and preserving natural resources.
