Gamewatchers Safaris is delighted to have been rated one of the Top Ten African Safari Companies in the World by National Geographic Adventurer Magazine.
In 2009 National Geographic Adventurer Magazine conducted a survey of hundreds of adventure travel companies in order to establish the best tour operators in each field as it is not always where you go which makes a holiday fantastic, but who you go with.
Each company had to answer a comprehensive 28 point survey which contained questions such as ‘Have you tested your risk management strategies?’ and ‘Are your guides taught to leave no trace?’. The surveys were then scored and evaluated by the travel experts at National Geographic, Adventure Council, Adventures in Travel Expo and the Adventure Travel Trade Association using the criteria synonymous with National Geographic – environmental awareness, reliable service, local knowledge.
Gamewatchers Safaris scored 92.53 out of 100, ranking us Top Ten in African Safari Companies and one of the best travel outfitters in the world.
