Safaris in Covid 19 Times – are still fabulous

Safaris in Covid 19 Times – are still fabulous

08 2020 | Matt Caldwell

It is very hard to write this all in 500 words or less so to make it a bit easier we set up a special Porini page on our web site with lots of details of all the measures and requirements in place. Please remember that this is correct at the time of writing (25th August 2020) so PLEASE contact your friendly team at Gamewatcxhers for the up to date requirements and information.

Apart from all the new forms, requirements, safety measure etc there is one over riding thing we need to say.
Kenya is safe to visit, as safe as anywhere is. The measures in place go much further than anything in the UK and the general consideration for others is so much better too - it was a breath of safari fresh air.
The actual safari was, as always, just amazing. We have no regrets on having gone apart from we could not stay longer.
This trip was booked at 2 weeks notice just as soon as we heard Kenya had reopened their borders.
Our normal annual trip is booked for October and we cannot wait to get back.

We have no hesitation at all in saying it is safe to go and that you will have as great a time as ever - you just have more things to remember before and on route and you soon forget there is a pandemic as Kenya awakens your mind and soul but you never forget to sanitize.
