TWIGA SAFARI 6 DAYS, 5 NIGHTS DRIVING & FLYING SAFARI (SELENKAY CONSERVANCY, AMBOSELI, NAIROBI TENTED CAMP – NATIONAL PARK & OL KINYEI CONSERVANCY, MASAI MARA ) : PRICES IN US$ [MINIMUM 2 PAX]

Prices include: Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and then road transfer in a minivan safari vehicle to Amboseli, 2 nights in Porini Amboseli Camp with daily Selenkay Conservancy fees and one day Amboseli National Park entrance fee, Maasai village visit then afterwards drive back to Nairobi city to arrive at Nairobi Tented Camp in Nairobi National Park for 1 night on full board basis. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Wilson Airport where you will board schedule flight to Ol Seki Airstrip, met and transferred to Porini Mara Camp for 2 nights with daily Ol Kinyei & Naboisho Conservancy fees, then last day fly back to Wilson Airport. Porini camps are based on full board basis including soft drinks, beer, house wine, gin & tonic, mineral water, return conservancy airstrip transfers, day & night shared game drives in open sided 4×4 safari vehicle with qualified guide, sundowners, walks with Maasai warriors while Nairobi Tented Camp includes full board basis, two airport transfers, one shared game drive or a visit to the Elephant Orphanage (scheduled at 1100hrs), sundowner, soft drinks, mineral water, beer, wine, gin & tonic. Porini Wildlife Habitat trust fee included in the package rates.

One Day Maasai Mara National Reserve entry fee included from 1st July to 30th September ONLY.

Prices exclude: International flights to / from Nairobi, travel insurance, Kenya Visas and tips / gratuities.

Child rates applicable for 08 – 12 year olds:

• 1 child sharing with 2 adults, child pays child package price above while the 2 adults pay per adult sharing rate.
• 1 child sharing with 1 adult, child pays child package price above while the 1 adult pays single adult rate.
• 2 or 3 children sharing in own tent, each child pays 75% of per adult rate. Child under 8 years not recommended.

Exclusive vehicle use at Porini camps:

Sole use of the open sided 4×4 safari vehicle during game drive US$ 375 per vehicle per day.

Late afternoon departure at Porini camps:

Late departure after 10h00 US$ 150 per person minimum 2 pax (includes lunch, soft drinks and activities before departure in the late afternoon).

Flight supplements:

Scheduled flight: For flying from Nairobi to Amboseli US$ 104 per adult return fare & US$ 73 per child (02 – 12 years) return fare OR US$ 93 per adult one way & US$ 65 per child (02 – 12 years) one way.

Charter flight: From 20th December to 31st March & from 01st July  to 31st October  we will offer daily charter flights with minimum 2 pax between Nairobi, Wilson Airport and Amboseli, Selenkay Airstrip which is very close to Porini Amboseli Camp & Selenkay Adventure Camp. The supplement will be the same as if using scheduled flight as provided above. The charter flight is only 35 minutes departing Nairobi, Wilson Airport at 08h00 and arriving Amboseli, Selenkay Airstrip at 08h35. (Camp’s vehicle transfer to Porini Amboseli Camp or Selenkay Adventure Camp for free). Note: if clients fly to or from Amboseli Airstrip within the operational dates of the charter flight then there is a supplement of US$ 50 per person each way for pick up or drop off due to the extra distance and National Park fee.

Mombasa: For flying from Masai Mara to Diani/Ukunda/Moi Airport instead of flying to Nairobi US$ 430 per adult & US$ 285 per child 08 – 11 years (one way flight). Includes late departure charge (Excludes mandatory reserve fee).

*Extra Night Rate:

The extra night rate includes game activities on the Conservancy where a large variety of wildlife can be seen with few other tourist vehicles present, as well as the option of having bush breakfasts, evening sundowners and night drives (all of which are not possible in the Reserve). Any clients who do choose to visit the National Reserve must pay the extra park entry fee on top of the above rates.

Our Porini Camps in the Mara are adjacent to the reserve in exceptionally rich wildlife areas where tourism density is controlled and deliberately kept very low (1 guest tent to 700 acres) and as such there is no need to visit the Mara National Reserve to view lions,  cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffe, hippo etc.  Stays in our camps in the conservancies also include extra activities like night game drives, guided bush walks, bush meals and sundowners. However, should guests wish to include an extra visit to the reserve this can be pre-booked with the additional park entry charge applicable (currently $80 per person for 2023, $100 per person for 2024 low season & $200 per person for 2024 high season, subject to change). As the park entry tickets for the reserve must be booked and paid for in advance, this option needs to be confirmed at time of booking.
