Boats can be hired for private cruising of the islands. With your own skipper, you can choose to visit areas which are difficult to get to by land, or you can visit other islands, with an alternative view from the sea.

Helicopter Rides

The spectacular beauty of the islands of Seychelles can best be appreciated from the air by taking a thrilling helicopter ride around the islands.

Bird Island

This is a magical desert island, named for the million sooty terns that nest here each year. It is a haven for rare migrants, turtles come to lay on the perfect sandy beaches and the coral reefs shelter an abundant marine life.

Fishing and Diving

There are excellent opportunities for fishing in Seychelles year round. January to March is best for kingfish, August to December for sailfish and November to December for trevally, Tuna, Dorado and bonito can be taken year round. Marlin is occasionally taken. Bottom fishing for red snapper and job can be arranged including night trips. Deep sea fishing is excellent and the turquoise waters are perfect for swimming. Diving in Seychelles is superb. The variety of fish life is stunning as is the underwater scenery with its towering granite boulders and caves. At some times of year, whale sharks can be seen. All necessary dive equipment is available at Dive Centres.

Walking

There are wild and atmospheric places to be explored in Seychelles only accessible on foot. Guided walks can be arranged on the Islands, led by knowledgeable local guides. Some walks are easy while others in the mountains require a good level of fitness. This is the best way to see the endemic flora and fauna of Seychelles. Walks are also a wonderful way to see spectacular panoramic views of the Seychelles scenery.
