Built on an elevated shoulder of the Rift Valley, Tloma Lodge is a comfortable medium grade lodge that offers attractive views of a coffee plantation as well as views of the Eastern wall of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Lodge has attractive gardens with blossoming and colourful flowering plants and bushes that surround an out-door heated pool. The peaceful atmosphere allows for a brief relaxing break in the middle of the busy safari itinerary.
ACCOMMODATION
With 34 spacious tents, the lodge offers views across the surrounding landscape to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Each room has large beds, En-suite bathroom & shower, mosquito nets, a private Verandah and telephone.
ACTIVITIES AND MEALS
Meals are served in the main cozy dining area but a buffet can be set up by the pool on occasion. Meals are prepared with fresh fruits and vegetables from the lodge’s very own grounds. Private dining on the decks can be arranged as well as picnics (prior arrangement).
At Tloma Lodge you can take escorted walks through the Ngorongoro conservation area or embark on a cultural walk with a guide where you will also get to meet with the Wairak people and learn about their culture and traditions.
